A homage to a car, a homage to an artist, afussion from the best,a new interpretation of the legendary Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR Uhlenhaut.
This vehicle is not only the most expensive automobile in the world, but probably also one of the most iconic design objects in the history of the automobile.
Its extraordinary shape and history inspired me to create some artistic interpretations in the style of Andy Warhol for my “Car Art Collection”.
I was already fascinated by Andy Warhol’s style in the eighties. He emphasizes the product presentation in such an emotional way that almost
every product becomes a work of art. That’s exactly why I’m trying to influence an already perfect product – photographed meticulously and with
great attention to detail – with the help of the American pop art icon’s visual style. It is an experiment in how artistic expression can further enhance
the perfection and aura of such a legendary vehicle.
