There are several interpretations from the Mercedes-Benz SL family that bear the name „Homage to Andy Warhol“; for the „Fascination SL“ project alone, there are over 325 unique image ideas with all derivatives from the 300 SL Gullwing to today’s models. And yet none is as striking as this homage, because Andy Warhol used this type of colour manipulation as early as 1962 in the screen printing process and in photography this could be interpreted in a modern way with digital image processing. „Homage to Andy Warhol“ is available in various versions with eight, nine or, as here, twelve vehicles – the work is even available as a large installation with 16 motif

Production: Giclée fine art pigment print on special coated aluminium type „Hylite“ 2mm with 2-layer top coat and fine sanding polished and sealed with swissvax framed in a black lacquered shadow gap frame.
