HARLEQUIN
993 Harlequin
Porsche 911 1993
Photographed in the Staud Studios Leonberg, 1993
The fourth generation of the 911 was launched in 1993 and the then chief designer Harm Lagaay accompanied the studio shots for
the marketing and press shoot. All images and the launch film were produced at René Staud Studios. In addition to the numerous
perspectives and variants of the technical features, a few art images were to be created. One of them went down in history as
Harlequin – Harlequin was the magic word of Harm Lagaay, who loved to paint vehicles in many colours. The fact that someone would
presume to do this on a computer was also new to him.
