This elaborately produced motif was created in several steps on the basis of a studio motif on slide film. After the scan, the digital file was alienated to such an extent that a kind of solarization was created, a colour reversal effect that was known to occur in the slide process. The graphic overlay with the grid structure was originally only planned as a reference color; the intention was to test the tonal change of black.
