This motif was named “Homage to Andy Warhol” and was created in 1993 as part of the shoot for the model launch of the 993 model, the 911 after the Porsche 964, the last with pure air cooling. The basis was a studio photo on slide film which was digitized and processed on an image processing system to achieve as many colour reversal effects as possible. The most beautiful vehicle colors were combined with the best background colors to create a new image.
